What kinds of buildings do you work on?

We work on schools, post-secondary campuses, hospitals, civic buildings, commercial retail units, warehouses, office buildings, server rooms, government facilities, and multi-unit residential properties. If your building has complex mechanical needs, we can support it.

Do you design HVAC systems?

Yes. We provide custom HVAC design tailored to your space, usage, and regulatory requirements. We work with engineers, consultants, and internal facilities teams to develop systems that are efficient, compliant, and scalable.

Do you work on older or occupied buildings?

Absolutely. We specialize in infrastructure upgrades and phased retrofits for older facilities, especially public buildings. We schedule around operational hours, respect building occupancy, and plan for minimal disruption.

Are you experienced with public sector and institutional work?

Yes. We frequently work with school districts, municipalities, and healthcare clients. We understand procurement protocols, compliance documentation, public timelines, and coordination with facilities teams.

Do you coordinate with other trades?

Yes. Our team regularly works alongside structural, electrical, and architectural contractors. We’re used to integrating our scope into multi-disciplinary projects and can manage field coordination accordingly.

How long do projects usually take?

Timelines vary based on project size, permitting, coordination, and seasonal availability. For standard installs or retrofits, we’ll provide an estimated duration as part of your quote. Larger infrastructure upgrades are scheduled in phases to meet your operational needs.

What areas do you serve?

We work throughout British Columbia, including: Abbotsford, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Kamloops, Kelowna, Merritt, North Vancouver, Pemberton, Penticton, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Princeton, Richmond, Squamish, Summerland, Sunshine Coast, Surrey, Vancouver, West Vancouver, and Whistler. We also serve all of Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and the Fraser Valley.

Can you help with permitting?

Yes. We assist with mechanical permitting processes and coordinate stamped mechanical drawings and documentation as required. We also support compliance with municipal, provincial, and industry standards.

Can you provide stamped mechanical drawings?

Yes. We work with licensed engineers to produce stamped drawings and sealed specifications as needed for permitting, construction, or institutional procurement.

What happens if the project scope changes?

Scope changes are handled transparently. If project needs shift mid-way, we’ll assess the impact, review the changes with you, and issue a formal change order outlining any adjustments in cost, timeline, or scope.

Do you offer ongoing service or maintenance?

While we are not a 24/7 emergency provider, we do offer service support to our installation clients and provide maintenance recommendations or referrals depending on your system. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

How are payments structured?

Payments typically follow a staged approach depending on project size — for example, deposit, progress draws, and final completion. Payment terms are outlined in your client agreement and clearly communicated before work begins.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Fusionline Mechanical is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in the Province of British Columbia. We are WorkSafeBC compliant and follow all required health and safety protocols on site.

Do you offer energy-efficient or sustainable systems?

Yes. We regularly install high-efficiency equipment, cold-climate heat pumps, HRV systems, and other low-carbon mechanical options. We also help clients achieve energy savings through system optimization and lifecycle planning.

What happens after I accept a quote?

Once you accept your quotation, we issue formal project documentation including the full scope of work, payment terms, warranty details, and timeline. This documentation governs all legal and professional responsibilities for both parties.

Where can I see your terms, liability, and legal coverage?

All legal responsibilities, warranties, liabilities, and professional obligations are defined in the client-specific documents signed before work begins. For legal information relating to this website, data use, accessibility, and digital interactions, visit our Legal & Terms page.

Are you compliant with BC and Canadian privacy laws?
